Chauncey Earl Heath was a nominee for Trempealeau County Sheriff on the Republican ticket. He won!!!
He was sheriff from 1940-1944

The Trempealeau County Sheriff's Office began operation in 1854. 

Chauncey Ear Heath was born on 17 July 1881 in Arcadia, Trempealeau County, Wisconsin To Perry Sylvester Heath and Sarah Jane Briggs. He was married 3 times.

#1 on 14 Feb 1902 to Ethel O. Penny in which they had 4 children:

1) Clinton Laverne Heath
2) Gerald John Heath
3) Marvin
4) Harold Heath


#2 Marriage was to Alice Bernice Engum Pederson 1943 place unknown.
#3 Marriage was to Selma V Wagner Johnson in 1941  place unknown.

Both ladies were widows


There isn't much known about what Chauncey did those years he served as sheriff. I searched newspaper articles and the web and found nothing Just the dates he was in term as sheriff. I couldn't even find a photo of the type of badge he would of worn.

Chauncey was the Uncle of husband of grand niece of husband of first cousin 3x removed to me
