Ethel died when she was only 27 years old of diabetes, on 7 Jun 1948 in Boonville, Cooper, Missouri.
She was laid to rest on 9 Jun 1948 in Tipton, Montieau, Missouri in the Saint Andrews Catholic Cemetery.
It must of broke her family hearts. The article said she had been battling diabetes for 11 years, that's a long time for anyone but for someone so young, I Just couldn't imagine the hardships they endured and during that time we were at War the Pre-Korean War insurgency was just starting as well as Internal conflict in Burma which I believe is an ongoing issue.
Ethel is my 3rd Cousin 1x removed.
Rest in peace you no longer have any pain.
