My 4th Great-Grand Uncle Reuben Emick

Reuben Emick was born abt 1805 in Pendleton, WV, died 19 Apr 1899 in Junction City, KS he married 1825 in Pendleton, WV to Anna Benneman.Daughter of Melchior Brenneman and Elizabeth Burkholder of Edom, Rockingham Co. Va. Her father was the deacon of the Mennonite Church in Edom.
 his parents were Henry Amick & Elizabeth Barbara Niemand.

Birth: 1812 Dahmer Pendleton County West Virginia, USA Death: Apr. 19, 1899 Atchison Atchison County Kansas, USA. He was the sixth child of Henry Amick and Barbara Niemand. He was born about 1812 in Dahmer, Pendleton Co. Va (now WV.) He married Anna Brenneman in 1832 in Rockingham Co. Va. Eight children were born to this union. They moved to Pleasant, Fairfield, OH by 1842 and then to Junction City, Geary KS in 1866 where he built a hardware store. After Anna's death in 1882 he married Almira H. unknown. Four children were born to this union. By the time of the 1860 census in Fairfield, OH he had changed the spelling of his name from Amick to Emick.

Burial: Highland Cemetery Junction City Geary County Kansas, KS.
