Deacon David Blood was born 28 Sep 1718 in Groton, MA, to John Blood & Martha Nutting. He married Abigail Farnsworth (1718-1802) in 1740. They had the following five children.

Deacon David Blood was a selectman in 1778 and a highway surveyor in 1783 in Pepperell, MA.
The poor deacon died on 6 Dec 1787 when his cart overturned, he hit his head and was killed. He grave is located in the Walton Cemetery in Pepperell, MA.
